November Update | We Did a Collab With Adelaide's Coolest Designer!

What’s up SOLE5 Squad!

November has been an exciting and stressful, but extremely productive month for us! We’ve been on the grind and we’re thrilled to share what’s been happening behind the scenes.

After a long period of planning, refining, and fine tuning, our official SOLE5 blog is finally live.

Let me tell you it was not easy… Quite possibly the hardest thing I’ve had to do in a while. Twenty years of experience in the Podiatry industry was absolutely useless when it came to having to learn to code and bug fix errors at 11pm at night (big shoutout to Eric, our legendary friend who apparently knows how to code. He saved us!).

Getting our blog setup has been a major goal for us, and we’re proud to have it up and running.

Our team of podiatrists will be publishing meaningful and practical content to help support your movement and foot health. Anything from injury prevention to footwear advice and orthotic insights, you can expect reliable, expert-backed information designed to help you stay active, comfortable, and Moving Free.

This month, we also had the pleasure of working with Adelaide based designer Tyler Carson of Carso Creations & Screech Clothing. Tyler is a part of a local Adelaide running group, Pog Mahones. We’ve been eager to get involved with local communities, so we jumped on the opportunity to support them at the upcoming Victor Harbor Half Marathon.

Tyler is a legend when it comes to apparel design and came up with a fresh, modern design that represents both SOLE5 and Pog Mahones crew with energy and clarity.

The crew were absolutely stoked with the outcome of the shirts and ready to hit the ground running ASAP.  Seeing this collab come to life through Tyler’s design work has been incredibly exciting for all of us at SOLE5 and Pog Mahones. Those new shirts will be making their debut in early December, and we can’t wait to show you how everything came together.

We’re passionate about being involved in the local community, supporting athletes, and sharing our knowledge. So if you see us around at the Victor Half Marathon come and say hey!

My Monthly Recommendation - Cancer Council Sunscreen

I said it last month and I stand by it, I’m as white as a ghost. It’s now officially summer and newsflash guys, being sunsmart is cool. Australia has some of the highest levels of UV radiation in the world, with our UV index often reaching 11+ (extreme!!) in summer.

If you’re out and about at all it’s super important to slip, slop, slap. So my recommendation for the month is the Cancer Council's Sensitive Sunscreen. It’s SPF50+, dermatologically tested, and doesn’t feel insanely greasy when you apply it. Get around it.

Move Free.
